Some Tips for Prospective Puppy Buyers

A puppy can grow with your best friend and a dedicated crew. However, it is important to understand what you get before going out and buying a dog from a breeder. I have worked with dogs for some time now and feel qualified to share a few hints.
First, make sure you think things through carefully and over a long period. The acceptance or the purchase of a dog is not a decision that should be easy it is important to understand that you are brining a different nature in your household and to be aware of the needs of this animal. For example, early education is crucial for the long-term satisfaction of both you and your pet. Obedience classes are a must, as are such items as house-breaking, establishing himself as a "pack leader," Teaching your dog how to greet guests and outsiders, etc. This all takes a considerable use of time and resources. A new dog in your household should be thought of in a similar way with a child, while it may sound silly, the needs of the two are actually in the same ball park
A very important factor is the race you have the choice. There are one hundred fifty-seven breeds, as provided by the American Kennel Club and each race has its own unique characteristics, strengths, needs, and, of course, weaknesses and problems. There are a number of websites on the Internet with extensive information about the different breeds, and it is important that you spend so much time exploring your options as possible, not the too common mistake of going out and picking a puppy just because you think , It looks cute.
Moreover, unlike buying a dog from a breeder (costs thousands of dollars, depending on the breed and pedigree), consider a dog in distress from a local rescue organizations. A quick online search can help you find dogs in your area, in need of loving homes. Unfortunately, many of these dogs never find the houses they need, simply because people buy bred dogs. It may be difficult to determine the mix of breeds in a dog can be found in a shelter, but the research, discussion, and of course the help of the staff at the shelter can help give you an idea of what breed of dog is. Once you have this information you can research online or in a library to learn more about the specifics of the race.

If you decide to adopt a rescue, you have my thanks, you're doing a good deed and potentially save a life, so Pat on the back. If, for some reason, you decide it would be better for you to purchase a dog from a breeder, it is very important that the research not only the dog you are interested, but also the environment of animals bred in. It is is an unfortunate reality that many breeders find you have little interest in animals and are far more concerned about money-these are the people you want to avoid. Looking for someone who really loves her dogs and ensures they are expensive. This is the kind of breeder you want your company to not only promote the breeding practices, but also because dogs bred in a loving environment are more likely to make successful, well-behaved pets.
I hope these few tips help to give you an idea of the kind of commitment required for the adoption or buying a puppy, and the considerations you should when selecting a breeder. Good luck, and make sure you have your research and make the right choice!

Cute Puppies Rules - How To Save Your Skin

If you have a puppy, all you have to do is look at the bottom of the hand, with teeth marks and you will understand why I have the title of this article. One of the hardest things to do is discipline your new puppy. Because they are so cute and cuddly. It makes it difficult to rely on them when they chew your hand into hamburger meat. Pardon the pun, but if you do not nip this problem in the bud real quick. It can lead to problems later on the way.
If you do puppies live with their mother and litter mates, his mother would cure them of their nipping problem. Since it is not easy for us to get our teeth and soil, to our across. There are a few things we can do to read our message loud and clear. Quite simply, you want to mimic the mama dog's behavior in trying to prevent your dog from nipping. If you Puppy NIP too hard, you want to say a command in a voice loud enough to startle the puppy. That does not mean screaming at the top of your lungs. She wants only to their attention. If you responded you want to quit the game. It does not matter what your command is my personal preference is to say: No!. Be easy! Obviously the "no" is a command that you often, and soon he is simply in the sense he is biting too hard.

I personally have nothing against my puppies with my hand as a chew toy. I feel through him to use my hands doing the same thing as parent would. If he bites too hard, as I would react if the mother and pinch him on the lips until I get a yelp. That is what is a mother would do, and it is on the point that he was not too rough. Well, if you are like my wife and a mosquito bite pretty much gets you in bed, and I suggest you choose to use a toy to play with your puppy.
Some people believe in the nose with a tap as a means of breaking your dog from nipping habit. This is really not a form of punishment, but rather an eye-catcher. Remember that it is only effective if you have a voice and Z-command with her. To use this technique simply wait for the next time you dog bites. It is his or her attention and tapped him on the nose with your finger so that your command. No easy! Remember, now that you do not try to be breaking his nose, giving him black eyes are way out of line. They want only to his attention.
Just like with your child is important, in line with your puppy. They must be consistent about disciplining your puppy, nipping once the behavior begins. He can not play with them and let them NRP one day and not discipline and the next day to be playing with him and decide discipline. As young children puppies do not understand "Sometimes it's ok." So try to stay in line, and let your

A puppy of the natural instinct is to bite, but you can not appreciate this behavior. When puppies are small, biting may seem cute. Small dogs eventually grow into the adult dogs that bite, if steps are not properly train the dog. They do not want someone to be violated or to sue if you can not control your pet. Here are some suggestions to stop dog bites.
Before you bring a young puppy at home, wait until he or she is a few months old. This is always the PUP to have plenty of time to learn proper behavior from his mother because she is really biting it or siblings. Removal of young dogs from her mother at six weeks of age is a common practice, and this does not give the mother enough time to teach young people how they behave.

If you have other dogs, letting your puppy to interact with them, so that after a certain time for the new family member to be accepted. You can also borrow from a friend or relative dog to play with your puppy. Your new pet can learn how to interact with people and pets by modeling the behavior of older dogs.
If your puppy makes teeth on the skin, say "No" and remove part of your body as soon as possible, which is a bone or other chew toys in the dog's mouth. This will hopefully help the young dog to establish a connection between want and chew what things are acceptable to chew.

However, if your puppy bites, be sure to say "No" immediately. Otherwise, the dog will not associate your dissatisfaction with the biting and will be confused. Hitting or other harsh punishment will not solve the problem and biting May at your dog more aggressive.
If you or a family member is sporting a lot of files, you can try on a product called bitter apple to exposed skin. Your dog might come to your hand with the bad taste and do not want to be petted, so carefully consider your options before you try this strategy.

As dogs are protective of their toys and food, be sure to instruct your children to stay away from the dog possessions, and if the animal eats. Suggest signs of aggression like ears, the production or back, so that your children learn from the dog alone when they see these behaviors. Information about Lab Health

FOOD
I recommend spending the extra money, and with a super-premium food. It is either the money in a good meal, or in vocational education bills later. I use a special food, was designed by leading nutritionist dogs Dr. Tom Willard, PhD. The food is not commercially available, and probably will never be (because these foods do not have sugar and fillers to the consumption). We believe strongly in the quality of nutrition. The convincing factor is excellent. JaxMax.com has the ability to schedule deliveries again occurred over a period you can decide and change. It sure beats lugging heavy bags dancing, who knows what home! Most food (yes, even some of those highly advertised brands) for the use of the cheapest ingredients and fillers. They are also known for advertising high protein content. What they usually do not mention is the lack of digestible protein. Because your dog can not tell you. (Another advantage of using a food with little or no fillers is less chaos in the yard dog). www.JaxMax.com
TOYS
Everyone loves the focal point for their new puppies! Some things you have to buy you should look out for are "contaminated products". The leading PET supply warehouses, the PET in the building, can lead to the spread of the deadly virus known as Parvo puppies. If you want to buy all chew toys and PET utensils, you can see a few different ways.
1) purchase of an online store (For this reason we have a partnership with www.JaxMax.com for our customers).
2) buying from a retailer that does not allow pets in the building.
3) You can sterilize the products you already purchased with a 15% bleach solution. (Note: This increases the risk of puppy you catch a virus).

IMAGES
Your new PUP comes with the CPV-ML (dogs modified live virus) vaccine has already managed. They will also have received two doses of T Strongid de-worming medicine. Only inform your veterinarian of this, and he may be from there. I do not recommend Instant vaccination for rabies. Let them grow for a while. Even while they are young, they will most likely be at your side, and not in the vicinity of other animals.

MORE CARE
Monthly heartworm pills, the best food, lots of water, exercise, and love! Enter type children, if possible. You can also consider a second laboratory for a playmate. Formal training can also be something that you want to check in.

Getting a New Puppy or Adopting a Dog

One of the most important considerations in dog ownership is choosing the right breed for your lifestyle. Another aspect of dog selection, is widely overlooked is whether you should make a young adult or puppy dog. Both options offer different rewards and you should take the time to make the best decision.
By and large, most dog owners believe that education a puppy is an advantage, because it means that you guide its growth and wellbeing. You have the ability, after which it what you want. This means you can make sure that it is properly maintained with the right dog food, receive the necessary vaccinations and heartworm prevention done properly at this early stage. You can choose to train your puppy the right way from the beginning what he no chance for the development of undesirable behaviors.

A puppy can easily adapt to the new environment in comparison to adults a dog, even though most puppies can cause some damage to your personal belongings while they are in the phase of childhood diseases. They must be house broken house and training needs a lot of time, effort and patience from the owner.
There is no assurance of what a puppy will look like when it grows, especially if it is a mixed breed. Also, his temperament might change when he grows. They should be brought back puppies when they are at least 10 weeks old. Puppies need a lot of time to be cared for by their mothers. This is a crucial stage for them. This allows the puppies grow better psychologically, according to most experts breeders.

Puppies are at a stage where they are most adorable and fun to have in the family. They are extremely cute and lovable, which now makes it fun and interesting for the whole family. Puppies are usually easier to be accepted into a new family, because they see it grow.
On the other hand, puppies require a lot of attention and training a puppy can be difficult, time consuming and expensive task. Some form of damage is unavoidable in the house when your puppy is teething problems, ranging from carpet stains to chew up shoes and furniture. All this May, unbearable and difficult to achieve if you with a busy schedule.

Only an Adult Dog - A well-trained adult dog is an easy fit into any family. You would generally have less fuss a carer of an adult dog. You already have an established behavior that you can understand. By the dog more often, you would have a clearer idea of their temperament is.
A major consideration is that the personality and characteristic of the adult dog is relatively unknown and must be carefully evaluated. A new owner should take note of their habits and mood swings. Hopefully you can use this valuable data from the previous owner of the dog. Some adult dogs May, some behavioral issues. It is important to take note of them.

You still need a considerable amount of time and effort to know that your dog for adults and for him, as well as possible with you. You need to introduce an adult dog to your children and other household members before him in the home. This would help to make the dog with them. It can help your dog to identify family members and to prevent them from violating or scaring them.

An older dog does not need as much attention as a young dog also has a few trips to the local veterinary authorities. As far as an adult dog is concerned, its physical properties will come as no surprise and largely remains the same. His behavior is less of a variable as well. What you see is basically what you get and there might be fewer surprises for you in the long term.
Most dogs are already house broken, so that they would cause less damage to your belongings and do not tend to wake up at night like most puppies do. They usually have the head of the pulse of chewing things that strikes their fancy. In addition, an older dog can easily be adapted to other pets, like other dogs or cats.
A popular myth is of the view that older dogs are not borrowing to their new owners is definitely not true. If you invest the time and effort in developing a good relationship with your dog, bonding will happen, regardless of age.

Puppy Obedience Training : Step by Step

The best way to start your puppy with obedience training is to visit a vocational school. Not only the puppies are well versed in the desired commands and actions, but you will also learn what is needed by both of you. If you have never obedience trained a dog before it is unlikely you will instantly and automatically know what to do. Another advantage of the training school is the social aspect. Meeting with other dogs and other people at an early age can prevent your puppy from fear and possibly more aggressive in the future.
Once you've visited a few classes, you should continue to work at home. You can continue with your dog obedience training for the social aspect, but either it will be necessary for you to continue with the training, if you are at home otherwise puppy will never learn anything.
Set a time daily to the training and working on different areas of obedience. By offering this variety to your puppy you are still teaching him or her some of the commands and actions, but they will not get bored and let their attention wander.

As with all forms of dog training, it is crucial that you complaints and opportunities in the appropriate quantities. When you first started, remember that your puppy not yet know what is right and what is wrong. You will not know that without them saying. This means that you are not reprimanding you are informed. You need to use a reprimand but also in the very early stage, but the reference should always be a vocal one. Do not use physical complaint, since they not only fear of your puppies, but also can lead to aggressive moves when they grow up.
Teaching your dog a few simple tricks is an excellent way to teach obedience training. Sit, shake leg and similar tricks are not only cute and effective as a piece of party, but they also show that your dog is submissive to you. It is certainly not necessary to them subservient extreme tricks as the submissive role. Puppies love to do tricks and they love it heaps of praise for something good and this is the most effective way that they learn something, so make the most of every single action they do, that is true, but do not try To dwell on the mistakes for too long.

One of the most difficult things to do is Cuddly Punish a cute dog, especially when it is a puppy. It may seem cute when they jump up on you as a puppy, but the second you show a positive gestures or give them a treat for it is the time you are rewarding them for a bad behavior.
The easiest way to teach your puppy not to jump is to teach them to sit and stay. This way when a visitor comes to the door, you can command the dog to sit and stay. It is a natural instinct for the dog to get excited when a new person comes in and go wild, which is why it is important that you practice sitting and staying over and over.
It is equally important that you show your dominance over the puppy. Regardless of how cute the puppy may be, you have to make it known that you are the owner and have a say in things. When puppies believe they are dominant, they will grow into reckless and difficult to handle pets.

With this said, all of these training methods can be done while avoiding hitting the puppy or giving the puppy harsh reprimands. A simple no or a light tap on the nose to let them know what they did was wrong is sufficient. Abusing your puppy to get them to learn will only break them down and solve nothing.

Your kids want cute puppies . All your neighbors have dogs. It's the great American Dream (for children, anyway) to have a dog like Lassie. However, if this is your first cute puppies, there are some things you need to know before you commit to buying cute puppies

#1 – Dogs Take Time. Puppies Take More Time.
Having cute puppies are like having a 2-year-old. Until they are trained (see #2), they require pretty much constant supervision. After they are trained, they still require supervision until they are older. Much older. If you can't entertain them all day, you may want to consider two dogs, or a cat. Or puppy day care!

#2 – Puppies Need Training. And so do your children.
When I was growing up, we had a dog – for a while. It didn't work out because my parents didn't realize that puppies need training. We were a cat family – and you can pretty much ignore cats. Not so with dogs.
You will need several puppy classes and possibly more classes when your cute puppies are grown. Dogs are not independent, and you need to teach them proper behavior.
If you have children, they need to take the classes with their cute puppies so they can learn how to interact with your new pet.

#3: Puppies Cost Money. Lots of Money.
Ok – this isn't unreasonable, but you need to be prepared to add your cute puppies into your budget. You will have many expenses, especially when you first get your new cute puppies. They need toys, bones, shots, registrations with the state, and don't forget the food, dog houses, collars, clothes (no really – it's a big business – you'll be tempted!) vet bills, and training (see #2).
Dogs are one of the most expensive pets around. Most puppies are part of the family – and will cost you like part of the family. Don't go into this venture thinking they're cheap.

#4 – cute Puppies Grow Into Dogs.
I know that's obvious – but you need to be sure you know how big your dog will be. If you have young children, your cute puppies may outweigh them within a year. Do the research so you know how big your little cute puppies will be when they are dogs
If your pet is a mixed breed dog, look at the paws. Usually, a puppy will grow into their paws.

#5 – Dogs Need Exercise.
And people need exercise – so this can actually be an advantage if handled properly. Cute Puppies need room to run and play. They need people to play with, and they need toys to play with. If you lead a very sedentary lifestyle, be sure you pick a dog breed that is low activity.

The larger the dog, the more room and exercise they need. You will probably need to walk your dog several times a week. Be sure and plan that into your schedule now – or you may find your cute puppies running around the house all day without you.
Owning a dog can be a very rewarding experience – even if this is your first cute puppies. Your dog will become one of the family and be a faithful companion for life. Be prepared for your new cute puppies , and it will be a great adventure for both of you.

Training your Cute Puppies the right way

Puppy training is very important, regardless if it is your first puppy or your 10th puppy. Training a puppy may also be easier than training to adult dog because a puppy does not have any knowledge on previous training techniques or other issues. On the other hand, sometimes a puppy can also be more difficult to train simply because it may not comprehensive what you are trying to teach or be too young to Recently the lessons.
Puppies are so easily Distracted because everything is new to it. The environment, the people, the things around, the other pets - these are all Distractions to a puppy simply because it is very curious about everything! With this in mind, it will be best to keep training sessions short and quick. Each training session should therefore ideally end on a positive note.

Socialization is important! As a puppy, Socialization is also important. Be sure to expose your puppy to other puppies, dogs and even pets. This will reduce any likelihood dog aggression as your puppy wants to know how to deal with its surroundings. Socialization training will help your puppy in Educating on how to play with other dogs properly and how aggressive play with other dogs in the play group is not acceptable and will lead to punishment.
As the puppies play with each other, they learn what is appropriate (and what is not). All undesirable and inappropriate behavior puppy (hard biting or scratching) is punished by its siblings, by the puppy's mother or both. However, in this day and age, many puppies are separated from their mothers (to be sold or adopted) before this natural Socialization can take place.

Hence, this is why Socialization and puppy training sessions are important. It may make a huge difference to your household and your relationship with your puppy and dog. After all, you would want a puppy or dog that is obedient and responsive to your commands.
You may begin socializing your puppy by taking a trip to the local pet store. Check to make sure if the pet store allows you to bring your puppy to get used to new sights, sounds and smells. Positive Reinforcements Puppies should be rewarded for good behaviors and not rewarded for being a delinquent. Do not reward a puppy just because it has a cute behavior. For example, it may be cute when a puppy jumps on people, but this cuteness will wear off immediately if your puppy grows into a 100 pound dog! So it will be Wiser to reward your puppy for sitting instead of jumping on people.
These positive Reinforcements can also be used in potty training for a new puppy. For example, teaching a puppy to do its "business" on certain surface is a good technique. If your puppy gets used to pooping on gravel or asphalt surfaces, it will be reluctant to use other surfaces such as your home carpet as potty.

A calm environment If you are bringing home a new puppy for the first time, it would be great if everyone in the family is present. So it would be best to make sure that the house environment is calm, unlike during festive or holiday seasons. Otherwise, there will be too many Distractions and the puppy will not get the attention it needs.
Once a puppy becomes part of the family, it will need to learn more about the home environment. For example, if there are stairs, your puppy may not know how to climb properly. So as an owner, you will have to slowly build your puppy's confidence. Start at the bottom of the stairs and work slowly up the steps day by day. Do not expect it to climb all the way to the top on its first day! In general, a wide stairway may be less intimidating for the puppy.

Need to Know Cute puppies training tips

Now you have finally decided that your life will never be the same without a puppy. Well, that is true, it will not. If you start with your new puppy at home, do not plan on getting much sleep the first night. Do you blame your little baby dogs thrive on routine and habit. Your pup will pine for his mother and his brothers and sisters. Until he to know that you really bond with you and your dog does not feel comfortable in their new surroundings.
Your pup is, in some sense, like a small child and exhibits little control over his emotions. If you scold him, you are merely your puppy afraid of you. For the first few nights, when you come when your PUP Whin, it is the fact that he can make you appear when he cries. This is a dilemma, and it would be good to invest in a book about how to make your little four-footed friend.

Make sure your dog has a safe place to sleep. There should be free from damage and drafts. It seems that most puppies will be down faster and capable of longer sleep well when it is warm and cozy in a crate. If you PUP is older and no longer chews everything in sight, it is probably no longer need to use the crate, except when traveling.
If it really bothers you at your puppy whine, you can use the soft-heart approach and put your pup the box next to your bed. He will know that you are close, and if he does not complain during the night, you can use your finger into his chest to calm him. After that most puppies will drift back into bed.

However, if you have a really determined PUP, he may refuse to settle down. If your nerves get the best of you, and you are angry with your puppy, take the crate in a separate room in the house and leave it there with only a little food and water. Under no circumstances should your puppy to cry.
These are just a few tips for you that May to help your pup feel better acclimated to his first night in your house. If you go to pick up your puppy, ask the breeder if you can use either a cloth or plush toy with his mother's scent on it. Put it in the box with your puppy. The familiar smell may be a consolation for your pup. You can also use a small night light on, so the puppy can see his food and water. Do not leave too much, but because you do not want him to have an accident.

If your dog can not sleep in his crate, try a sheet over the front door of the box, so that the pages discovered, so he can air. After doing this several times, your puppy get the idea that it means bedtime.
Some people do not mind if their boys sleep in bed with them. This is fast becoming a habit and can not be difficult to break down the road. If you allow this behavior, if your dog is still a puppy, make sure you want this to continue when your pup is an adult. It is not so easy to retrain an adult dog.
I hope these tips you get through the first few nights with your new little puppy. Remember that it is a big adjustment, so things are slow. They are sure to have years of happiness with your new found friend.

History of Labrador Retrievers

Labrador have been invented, so to speak, in the fifteenth century. They were originally intended as a fishing dog for the villagers of Newfoundland. Labs met resistance against the cold waters of the North Atlantic through the development of two different layers of hair - an inner layer of short fuzzy hair for insulation, long hair and a guard for water. They also developed webbed paws for swimming. Loyalty, commitment, and a wonderful temperament came standard. Genetic colors were black, yellow and chocolate. (See history of chocolate Lab for specific information). It is assumed that Darwinists of Labrador from the Dolphin many years ago. Perhaps would explain that their playfulness.

Hunting Labs
By the 1800's Labs migrated to England and then in the United States. Here, fishing was not the required task, but retrieving ducks were at the center. Hunter loved to show their labs, and worked with them diligently to develop their skills. Selective breeding kept the desire to connect with a good nose into the lines. Hunters began to events where their labs were depending on their performance against a set standard. These tests were Hunt.

Field Labs
The development of the perfect hunting Lab was such a case, that a splinter group has this to the next level. It develops standards, if the labs were depending on their performance against other labs, instead of against a standard set. This increased competition. As a result, breeders, the more weight on the energy and intelligence, and usually less to see. These Labs has long legs, hyperactive, and wise enough, a good game of chess. Head and tail was a bit close. Today, these Labs May, and a fence to climb 30 miles jogging as a warm-up. They are fantastic, but sometimes a bit too vigorously for the family situation. Today, these labs are generally known as the "champion".

Family Labs
In the 1980s, a new category was added - that was known as the family Lab. They were bred for health, temperament, intelligence, looks, and a desire to retrieve, in that order. This led to a less hyper, very intelligent Lab, is better suited for the family situation. They did not have the monster heads of the show Labs, or the smaller field heads, but developed proportionally moderate bloc heads. Good temperament meant the large labs have been with children. They had enough energy to swim or play Frisbee, but were calm enough to crash at your feet and sleep in front of the fireplace. These labs lost the desire to migrate, and were much more comfortable at home.
As the pressure of breeding Labs to win ribbons at events has been removed, health naturally improved. Family Labs were not inbred plants, leading to a decrease of recessive traits causes dwarfism and other adverse medical conditions.
The original family Lab was by the owners of Labpups.com. They have years of experience in this field. Other growers are beginning to copy this formula.
Show Labs
Another group of people were interested in the looks of the exercise, and set forth for the perfect dog. Tail and ear length, poundage, size and other physical aspects weighed more than Hunt or Field Trial requirements. Generally speaking, those Labs developed stocky bodies, short legs, heads and mammoth. They are paraded in Show events, and sometimes at the end of Westminster. Intelligence and temperament can sometimes a backseat to see, although this does not apply to all show Labs.

White Labs
White is not a natural color, but a race of yellow, light yellow by breeding with yellow light. Whites lose the pigment in the skin, causing skin cancer, sensitive skin, or allergy-like symptoms such as open wounds.

Chocolate Labs
In the early days, black Labs with a white diamond on her chest were the most desired. (This was especially bred by the breeders show Lab). Yellow Labs have been tolerated. Chocolates, however. They were first suspected as a genetic mistake, and given derogatory names. The accepted practice of the day was to drown them, so removing them from the gene pool. In the early 1970's, genetics had shown that chocolate was just as pure as black or yellow. Chocolates suddenly one of the most desired dogs in the world. The problem was their recessive genes had almost been eradicated after 500 years of persecution, so that only very few laboratories capable of chocolates. Breeders, in the haste to meet the sudden demand, breeding started everything was brown and had four legs, calling them "Chocolate Labs." (The Chesapeake Bay Retriever seemed to be the state favored inches) Papers were a Dime a dozen, and only as good as the breeder the floor. This led to a dilution of the chocolate Lab, which led to the false impression that chocolate were stupid or temperamental. A pure chocolate was as intelligent and well-tempered than black or yellow.

Other colors
Genetics support black, yellow and chocolate. Other colors are achieved by mixing different breeds Labrador. A silver-colored dog can be achieved by a breeding chocolate Lab with a Weimeriner. These are not mere Labrador, no matter what the newspapers say.

Putting A Stop To Your Cute Puppies Nipping Habits

Puppies are lovable and loved additions to any family, but these cute, furry companions will work with all types of natural habits, which may be quite a nuisance for a typical household.
Dogs are naturally primitive creatures. Fortunately, they fit easily and can be trained with little effort, allowing our homes with our favorite four-legged friends and still our standards of order and cleanliness. Teaching your puppy to behave properly is a big responsibility and May seem much more daunting than it should be.
With a little patience and a few simple, proven training methods, you can put an end to most of your puppies the bad habits by redirecting his natural instincts to something more appropriate.

Nipping
Nipping is usual and normal for puppies, especially if you and your puppy play and gets overly excited. These puppies normal instinct is seemingly harmless, but will soon become more dangerous and painful as your puppy grows. Teach your puppy early, never to your skin, or any other, with his teeth and he is far less likely to bite later in life.
The best way to train your puppy to stop nipping his is the direct calls away from your hands with puppy toys. Your puppy needs a variety of toys that are fun and fulfill his desire to nip. Soft, plush animals are a good choice, especially those with bright colors, and rubber dog toys invite puppies to bite and chew.

Start your training puppies for the first time you play with him and every time thereafter. Puppies at the age of eight weeks old can be trained with little effort. If your dog starts to bite as you play, always respond with "ouch" and prevent your playtime for about 10 seconds. If your puppy continues nipping when you back your play, get up and leave the room for a moment.
You leave your puppy alone each time he bites will help him realize that the measure ended his season. Soon he will quit the habit, so he can continue to enjoy playing with you. You may want to start training your puppy every time he bites hard and slowly work towards ending the habit as a whole.

Chew
Much like infants, puppies teeth at some point in their development and during this time, they enjoy chewing reassured because their sore, tender gums. Unfortunately for dog owners, this natural chewing usually destroyed a number of possessions, including shoes, newspapers, and even furniture. You may not be able to prevent your puppy to the need to chew and alleviate his pain, but you can help him focus his chewing on more constructive materials.
Train your puppy to stop chewing on household items that made him with a variety of chew toys. Make sure that your puppy always has a chew toy is available, wherever you are. For best results, your puppy to a small part of the house and have a lot of toys nearby. Surrounding your puppy with so little furniture and other tempting items as possible will make your efforts much easier.
If your puppy chews on something he should not, firmly say "no" and his chew toy in front of him. Always praise your puppy when he chooses his toy train on your belongings.

To Puppy Food or not to Puppy Food - That is the Question

"Why are some pet food have puppies (or kittens food) and others not? Should I not my new PUP - puppy food?"
Before I answer this question - I need a little food for history. Back in the early days of commercial pet food, veterinarians found that when puppies were fed the same commercial food that the adult dogs were to eat - they do not grow and prosper, as they should. At that time, commercial dog and cat food containing very little meat quality - especially the protein from the food-grains contain. It was found that puppies and kittens need a higher-protein food in order to develop properly. This change was important, but the bad news is that the protein was not required from meat sources - came from the most inferior grain sources. The new requirements only required a higher percentage of protein to grow food - a puppy food or kitten food - there was no information about where the protein from (is still).

Today, AAFCO has set standards for puppy food for at least 22% protein (adult dog food at least 18% protein), standards for food kittens must be a minimum of 30% protein (adult cat food minimum 26% protein). Besides a few other very minor differences - the amount of protein is the only difference between an adult dog food or an adult cat food to a puppy or kitten food.
So, to answer the question above - you can feed puppy food or kitten food, but you do not need when you feeding the right food! Remember that with the exception of the proportion of protein, there are no significant differences in an adult pet food to puppy or kitten food.

Many pet food lines have protein percentages than the minimum requirements for puppies and kittens. Some PET food formulators have identified in their research that 18% of protein for adult dogs and 26% protein for adult cats is not optimal - as they formulate their food with higher protein level than the required minimum. In other words - many adult foods meet the same nutritional requirements for puppies and kittens, even if not specifically marked as a puppy food or kitten food. As an example ... ABC Chicken & Rice Puppy food has a protein percentage of 23% and ABC Chicken Kitten food has a protein percentage of 32% - but XYZ Chicken & Rice dog food has a protein content of 25% and cat food chicken XYZ as a protein percentage of 35 %. Both brands ABC and XYZ brands take the necessary protein for puppies or kittens as well as food for adult dogs and cat food for adults. So, a puppy or a kitten owner could be their new owner of XYZ baby pet food - even if it is not labeled specifically for puppies and kittens.

Before I go any further - I have to mention a little about canned pet food. ALL canned or pouched pet food (a moist pet food) contains at least 70% to 85% humidity. Protein percentages pet food in cans vary from 7% to 11% - far below the minimum requirements for adult dogs and cats and puppies and kittens. Pet owners want not only a feed canned or pouched pet food for adult dogs and cats or puppies and kittens. You simply can not provide the necessary nutrition. If you want a canned pet food, feed it with a dry food quality. Perhaps soft for breakfast and dinner kibble.
OK, back to puppies and kittens food ... a common question I hear on this subject is ... "Is it ok for my adult dog (or cat) to eat a food that is such a high proportion of protein?" Many pet owners - after hearing my explanation of puppies and kittens food, you are worried about feeding an adult dog or cat has a pet that food, a higher percentage of protein. The best way I can address these concerns simply by exchanging with the words of many pet specialists. Like a dog or cat goes by a dog or cat, a young adult, to a mature adult to a higher PET - her body continually produces new cells, new fabrics and new muscle - the whole process feeds off of protein. So that PET still need a quality protein source over the entire life. (There are exceptions for older animals and pets with diseases - this discussion is strictly for healthy animals - contact your veterinarian if you have any questions.) Science - not speculation - has found that a higher protein Advantages level young Dogs and cats as well as adult animals. I have a few dogs and cats in food Petsumer report that the protein levels as high as 50%! I'm not so confident that 50% protein in a dog food or cat food is best for pets (more for a working dog - is a working example Cattle Dog tend to flock) - the point is that the higher protein level pet are out there, and not all of them are characterized as a puppy food or kitten food.

The thing is that most PET owners choose a puppy food or kitten food is the marketing. Those television commercials that show adorable puppies and kittens indication of such food "meets the unique needs" or "special" or "extra food" or "designed to meet the increased energy needs," and so forth have lured farmers into strong belief That their dog or cat food, a puppy or kitten food. The cute little faces along with the expertly researched day lines - have helped grow the puppies and kittens food entrepreneurs in phenomenal numbers. A part of the marketing strategy is to puppy owners hook into a certain emotional commitment to the manufacturer through a puppy or kitten food. If you begin with ABC puppy food - the marketing objective is to ensure that they remain loyal, that the company later with ABC adult dog food. The pet food manufacturers have been so successful at this marketing technique - multiple manufacturers, the maintenance of a quality pet food (not for a specific puppy food or kitten food) were forced to package their food in a puppy or kitten format.
I am not saying that puppies and kittens food is bad - it still boils down to the ingredients in pet food. What I say is that it is not an obligation, a feed puppies or kittens especially a puppy food or foodstuffs kittens. Until them with a quality pet food, the proportion of protein they need - they are in order.

Always, always, always - please contact your veterinarian.
And a bit of information more quickly - I wish I could tell you that if you have a good puppy food or kitten food, with quality human grade ingredients U.S., and added bonuses such as health or chelated minerals and proteinated Probiotics - that we stick with that same manufacturer for your adult pet food and treats ... But that's not always the case. Actually, it's exactly the opposite. From reviewing many lines of pet food and pet treats from a manufacturer for Petsumer report, I have noticed that many pet food manufacturers make some pet foods, the quality of human grade ingredients, and then their pet treats are located in the vicinity of junk food. While other, perhaps one or two varieties of pet foods that are good, and have several varieties, which I would never recommend that a pet owner to feed. It is just not so easy. You must check the ingredients, ask questions and take a look at the guaranteed analysis and best by date on everything.
We wish you and your pet the best.

Home of the Original Non-Hyper Family Lab

Labs are particularly known for their love for the people, and so great family dog. I recently read that DNA research shows, their closest relatives to the dolphins. This is not surprising, since they share the same fun-loving spirit, and the need for social activity. One of our female labs was sold to the owner of a private school, where she attends class regularly. Many days I went and seen in two or three children reading, with his head propped up against them, or cuddled them during naptime. Chew They are by nature, but with some gentle guidance to learn what is OK to chew. The worst thing you could do is to punish them for this act. Just get your TV from her mouth, and replace it with a piece of wood. You need attention, such as walking or swimming. They show, traditionally a love for water and retrieving. She and a tennis ball will be their best friends. Because they have a need for space and movement, they are not ideal apartment dogs. To a an airline kennel while going to work, or tethering you to a chain is unthinkable.

Your New Puppy
So, what are your first days with your new look PUP? Crying - How will they miss their kennel estimates for the first few nights, you have two options. Sleep with them, or endure five or six nights by themselves to cry to sleep. If you are one of the latter route, I do not recommend as an answer to their howling, or they will have you trained! One night soon, they will find that keeps them awake howling, and then quit.

Call of Nature
As far as burglary, I often have new owners ask me how we managed to train them to such an early age. We do not. They will naturally want something on organic (such as grass or straw). Put a patch of straw outside, where you want them to go, and they know the situation. Then it is up to people to read the right signals! You will not want to punish accidents - just reward good behavior.

Digestion duration system
Puppies have an extremely sensitive stomach. Too fast or switch to another slamming food can cause diarrhea (in some cases with blood), vomiting, and in extreme cases, death. If a puppy gets a hold of bark, leaves, paper towels, etc.. You can view a stomach upset (if a puppy digests a foreign object, they could develop diarrhea, and in some cases you may see a little blood in the stool (At least this is an all natural materials). This is usually caused by foreign material (the dish of a puppy will bleed easily (the saying "trash mouth (which means that they have something to eat) and baby stomachs (ie very sensitive)", in contrast to the seriousness of these people is low. Should this occur , Don 't be alarmed.
Nutrition
I recommend spending the extra money, and with a super-premium. It is either the money in a good meal, or in vocational education bills later. I use a super-premium all natural foods, was designed by leading nutritionist dogs Dr. Tom Willard, PhD. We believe strongly in the quality of nutrition. The convenience factor is excellent. JaxMax.com has the ability to schedule deliveries again occurred over a period you can decide and change. The food is not commercially available, and probably will never be (because these foods do not have sugar and fillers to the consumption).

Toys under the family Labs:
Everyone loves the focal point for their new puppies! Some things you have to buy you should look out for are "contaminated products". The leading PET supply ware houses, with PET in the building, can lead to the spread of the deadly virus known as Parvo puppies. If you want to buy your puppy chew toys and PET utensils, you can see a few different ways.
1) purchase of an online store (For this reason we have a partnership with www.JaxMax.com for our customers).
2) buying from a retailer that does not allow pets in the building.
3) If you have already purchased products from a store, the dog-traffic, you can sterilize the elements in a 15% bleach solution for fifteen minutes. This will decrease the chance of your pup contracting a disease

Inside or outside?
Of course, your dog will almost always want bewith his human family. The ideal situation is for them to have a choice. Since they have thick coats, they can be pretty cold weather, as long as you provide them with a draft for a vacancy. For the summer, a child pool will earn you doggie licks! Cute Puppy Mills

In the Americas, the desire to own pets for many families. It's just something about a new puppy, the good fortune to be home. There are many places to buy a puppy, PET saves a popular choice. If we go to the Pet Store, we always seem to fall in love with that little fur ball behind the window. But has anyone ever wonder where these puppies came from? They were certainly not born here, at the corner pet shop. Have we ever get to see the parents of these puppies? Have we ever wonder whether the puppies were born in the best conditions? They have the right care, accommodation, food, water, and exercise of their breeders? It would be a wake-up call, if only every family in America knew the answers to these questions.
The over crowded and unhygienic conditions in puppy mills were a growing problem for decades. The breeding facilities are often dirty and horrible. The smell of urine overwhelmed these institutions. Stagnant water sits in a bowl that no dog is nearby. In cages were piles of dog excrement, which is for too long. It is not unusual that a dead dog to lay it to red for day. If this sounds like the place you want to buy your puppy from? Several dogs spend most of their lives behind the bars of a cage. Within these tiny cages they begin to develop psychological problems, which they stir-crazy, what they are, even in a circle until they fall down. You do not get to run or play around and some never May as part of a family. These dogs never even a hair brush, which results in fur matted so some can not even open their eyes, let alone walk around without the constant pulling of hair from all nodes. Often times the teeth so rotten that the dogs tongue hangs from his or her mouth the whole time. These dogs are constantly bread and if they are no longer useful for breeders by the loss of fertility, they are given away, left on the road somewhere, or killed.
Numerous complaints have been filed because of purchases of sick puppies from PET saves. At first it just seems that the dogs are very shy or tired, but the truth is they are suffering. People buy them at the end and usually begin to see signs that the dog is sick. If they do not notice the signs right away and take the puppy to a veterinarian, the puppy is usually the disease from what he had. After learning of the conditions for the puppy mills, it does not surprise me that these puppies are sick. It goes back to the fact that we need to know where the puppies for sale, we will come. We need to see their parents and the breeders. If someone had gone to puppy mill itself to buy a puppy, there is no way they would with a smile. A sick puppy would be an automatic guarantee.
Each year an estimated 5 million dogs and cats are euthanized in animal shelters. This means that about 7000 dogs are euthanized every day. Well, imagine if 7,000 people buy a puppy from a pet store every day. They are fueling the cycle of puppy mills, because PET stores are usually supplied by them. If these people diverted their source and adopted a dog from a shelter, they would be saving the lives of 7,000 dogs. But as long as puppy mills Keep going strong, we are never to break this cycle. The only way that the puppy mills may be shut down May, when they no longer make a profit. The other possibility is that stricter laws are in for puppy breeding facilities, but we all know that there are ways around the law.
We can not possibly count the amount of stray dogs roaming the streets, so keep that in mind as well. Sometimes people in Strays, but in most cases they are only the eyes. In some cases, people take the problem of Strays into their own hands and kill the dog itself. There were reported cases like this, we may not know this amounts to the growing list of dogs die each year.
In this sense, I believe that the only way we can break the vicious circle is to stop supporting puppy mills. Either people do not know this terrible cycle or they simply do not care. The best way to stop this viscous cycle is from an animal shelter or buy from a trusted, reputable breeder. Can we possibly resist, in a pet store and buy a cute puppy on impulse? Can we set aside our own desires to save thousands of dog's life? It sounds so easy, but nothing seems to change.

How to Choose the right puppy breed

For too many, that the process of choosing a puppy or puppies is based purely on how cute the puppy is or how playful its personality seems at the pet store or kennel. Granted, playful and cute puppies can really tug at your heart strings and urge you to a impulsive and costly decision on this very important addition to your family, but without proper reflection and research on the nature of the race you are shopping, your family and your cute, adorable puppies could be a long road of pain and frustration before.
Purebred puppy breeds have specific characteristics, especially on their race, and these characteristics are generally more pronounced with age. While the race will be different for different families, the adjustment of the wrong race with the wrong family can have devastating consequences.

It was estimated that the number one reason why responsible pet owners relinquish its ownership of puppies or puppies at one of the many county human services can be found throughout the country, because they are frustrated with certain characteristics of the dog. Whether the problem is large, such as aggression to children or other pets, or small, like a tendency to chew everything in sight, as the puppy grows and its cuteness contends that the frustration experienced, a poorly coordinated raise puppies . And the consequences can be heart wrenching for both the family and the dog.
But, just a little time to research the breed you consider the purchase, you can guarantee that your new dog is a well-loved addition to your family. Although I am not saying that you should discount a race to a very annoying feature, I'm saying that you should be willing and able to deal with all problems, behavior or health, is that in the context of Race.

To provide accurate information when choosing the right breed puppy for your family, stay away from sources with an interest in the sale of puppies. I learned them the hard way. After my children and family fell in love with a puppy on a local, reputable Pet Store, I had many questions to the seller about how easily the puppy house could be broken. A puppy makes messes in the whole house is not just something that I can with a couple of times not to speak for the months of house break.
I was by the clerk that the race was very intelligent and able to be crate trained in a matter of three days. To ensure a long story short, $ 1500 and 9 months later, the puppy still requires constant monitoring and can not be a complete part of the family by our inability to house break him. The research after the purchase showed that the race was inherently stubborn, and in some cases not be able to house broken, despite all attempts.
So, instead of on biased sources, turn into the library and people who own that particular race have puppies or held in the past. If you know someone who has a leave of purebred puppies race, that you consider for a fraction of the cost that they are for them or for free, you must ask some serious questions and pointed, before deciding to invest that in certain breed of puppies. Here are the key questions you must answer before buying a puppy or puppies:

1st What is the mature size and weight?
2nd Are they good with children?
3rd What is the temperament like?

4th How long do they live?
5th How much do they shed?
6th What are their indigenous health problems?
7th How are they trainable?
8th They can easily house broken?
9th Do they require much care?
10th How much they eat?
11th Are they good with other dogs and animals?
12th How loud are they?
13th What safeguards are they?
14th Do they require special care or administration?

Now everything you need to do is to answer these questions with your family's needs. Choose wisely, and you have a best friend of life, a dog, really a joy to have and a valuable member of the family.

Take him the last thing before bedtime.

4th Be consistent consistency is one of the most important aspects of training a puppy. There are several ways that you can use, including the implementation papers and restricting your dog in the same area as the Hell House use. There are also dog litter box training, and the umbilical leash area, where it from your side every minute that you can. Regardless of which means that you use, say the same words and take the same measures. Changes will make him nervous and cause accidents in the house. Crate training is the method that we prefer, and it will give your puppy a safety, too.

The trick is to know him immediately that your alpha-dog. In other words, you are the leader of his pack. It doesn't mean that you mean, you just have to let him know that you call the shots in the dog house training, and all other training.

8th Command Word Each exercise needs a command word; something simple. For house training your puppy, potty or outside are examples of appropriate words. Whatever you choose, always stick with the same one for each command.

9th Keep it simple burglary Dont make your dog no more difficult than it needs. For example, every time he goes to his papers or makes a mistake in another area, pick him, gently but firmly to him from the same house and set it on the lawn. Hell probably urinate, so reward and praise him and call him back inside. Dont make side trips on the way out or attempt a conversation with him. The easier it for him, the easier hell do it for you.

10th Many of the love-The final rule, which should be the simplest, it is the dog that all the love in your heart!

It has been a trend in recent years to feed dogs bones and raw food, or "BARF", as it is known. The idea is to feed dogs, what they ate in the wilderness before they were domesticated. How to Get Pet Insurance for Your Cute Puppy

Everyone knows how important it is to have health insurance for themselves and their family. Many do not even think PET insurance until they have the option of spending $ 2000 on your puppy that just ran on the marketing or the puppy down. At some point and time of your pet most likely to need a surgery. It may develop cancer or drink coolant leaking from your car.

As an animal lover I really hate to see dogs and other pets, which can be saved, but the owners can not only the money in advance to their loving friend. For the last 5 years, consumers have spent 15% more each year for their pets. That is 100% you spend more than 5 years. The cost for a good veterinarian has been close to this as well.

Pet Insurance is new?
Pet insurance or most often as a pet insurance has been around for many years. In fact, more than in the United Kingdom 1 / 3 to half of all people in some areas have PET insurance on their pets. Getting insurance on your pet dog is an investment. May your dog never sick, but when he then the insurance will offset the costs of large operations. With any insurance you need to do a little research. All breeds puppies and PET breads have different characteristics and the price for a pet is different then another. You need to find out before the time what the insurance will cover. It will be for regular check-ups? What types of operations for the insurance coverage and hospital stays? What is your co-pay?

Puppy insure your pet or if they are young
When puppies are young or PET They are more likely to get a better deal. If you get insurance later in life the dogs the price is more than adult dogs are more prone to health issues such as humans. If you save a few bucks, I always recommend that the insurance does not cover regular check-ups. This is usually the price drops in half. Yes, you would still be paid for check-ups, but at the same time, you are balancing your costs if the pet never-ending need surgery.

It is always good to look at the puppies insurance, and then an informed decision based on your lifestyle and the puppies. Pet insurance can be very low in price and the piece of mind it will give you is great. I know that I am not about 5000 dollars to spend on my dog, if he needs surgery, but the insurance will cover most of it, when and if the time comes, I do not have to say my 5 years old, we had to his best friend down because we could not afford to save his life.
